The University offers access to a number of tax-efficient pension arrangements for all staff. Your type of contract will determine which of the schemes you are eligible to join.

The Cambridge University Assistants Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) is administered in-house by the University Pensions Office, applicable to University Assistant staff. The Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) for other staff types is administered centrally, with the University Pensions Office as your point of contact.

The University Pensions Office are also the point of contact for the Medical Research Council (MRC) Pension Scheme, for those staff on MRC terms and conditions; and the National Health Service Pension Scheme (NHSPS) for those in a clinical role who meet the relevant eligibility criteria for enrolment.
