SCM Human Resources provides a comprehensive service to the Clinical School through a range of expert advice and support, operational services, HR strategies, policies and procedures that meet or exceed best practice.
The HR Team is led by Caroline Newman, Head of HR and is responsible for HR strategy and operational services.

HR Business Partnering Team
This service provides expert advice on employee relations issues, organisational change, workforce planning and development provided by a small team of HR Advisers to the Departments/Institutes. The team is supported by HR and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinators who support the School’s culture change work.
Resourcing/HR Staff Hub
This service provides a comprehensive central recruitment service for the School (including clinical appointments) to managers and candidates ensuring safe recruitment practices are in place.
An advice and support service to managers and staff, provided by a small team of HR Staff Hub Coordinators on HR administration, payroll and visitors queries.


Reward
Advice and support service to managers and staff on reward, benefits and promotion schemes within the School.
