The Human Resources (HR) Division supports the achievement of excellence in education, learning and research via the recruitment, retention, reward, recognition and development activities undertaken with and for University staff.
Alongside the effective HR policies, procedures and guidelines being in place throughout the full life-cycle of employment, the Division offers a wide range of specialist HR and support services to staff, who are the University’s greatest asset.
Clinical Contracts
Our Clinical Contracts Team will issued Clinicians, Research Nurses and Midwives and Allied Health Professionals employed by the University of Cambridge standard clinical contracts along with an honorary clinical consultant contract. From 1 October 2019, consultants receive joint (co-terminous) employment contracts which state:

Senior Recruitment | Resourcing & Payroll
Cambridge University, like many other universities and institutions, engages in senior recruitment to fill high-level academic and leadership positions. Senior recruitment at Cambridge University include the hiring of individuals for roles such as: Academic, Research and Teaching Leadership roles
The Staff Hub team provides a comprehensive central recruitment service for the School (including clinical appointments) to managers and candidates ensuring safe recruitment practices are in place.
We provide advice and support service to Departments via the HR Staff Hub Coordinators on HR administration, payroll and visitors queries.

The University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine (the Clinical School) is located, along with the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust sites of Addenbrooke’s and Rosie Hospitals, on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
The Cambridge Biomedical Campus lies to the south-east of Cambridge City Centre, just off Hills Road (which becomes the A1307 to Haverhill), and near to Long Road and Queen Edith’s Way. It is a short bus trip from the Railway Station and the City.
Parking is limited on site but there are many walkways, cycleways, and public transport options.
