“Doing great work in a great place to work“
The Clinical School HR Strategy, 2020-2023 builds on the significant achievements of the HR strategy 2017-2020, and importantly, equips the Clinical School to deliver its strategic goals through a talented and diverse workforce.
This strategy aims to support the delivery of a positive Clinical School culture and our strapline of “Doing great work in a great place to work”.
Our people are vital to the delivery of the Clinical School’s academic vision, strategic priorities and values. We recognise the benefits of being part of a positive cultural atmosphere that encourages staff to be engaged, appreciated, satisfied, happier and healthier at work.
We aim to attract and retain world leading talent, both staff and student, offering learning, development and career opportunities for all who play a part in achieving our vision.
The aims outlined in our HR Strategy will help drive the required changes in culture, leadership, talent management, performance, reward and recognition, personal development, ways of working and structures that will be needed to ensure the Clinical School is an employer of choice.
The Human Resources function across the Biomedical Campus will play an essential and instrumental role in partnering and supporting senior leaders, managers and staff to maximise their contribution to the delivery of our strategy and successfully operate in a globally competitive environment.
