Appraisal, also referred to as Staff Review and Development (SRD), is an essential part of the University’s commitment to developing staff and the School of Clinical Medicine has developed an Appraisal Scheme which is based on the University framework.
The Scheme is applicable to all staff employed within the School and is an annual process.
The purpose of the Appraisal Scheme is to:-
- Enhance work effectiveness; and
- Facilitate career development.
For Research Nurse appraisals should also draw reference to the Nursing & Midwifery Council webpages.
For Allied Health Professional appraisals should draw reference to the Health and Care Professions Council webpages.
